Reception - Gayle Burns

Gayle can be seen manning the desk everyday.  She can take payments, sell you uniforms and tell you about the Club.


Registrar - Debbie Jarrard 

Debbie is the lady you talk to by phone and internet for everything you need in relation to coming to classes.  


Bookkeeper - Zelda Appleton

You will never see Zelda as she works behind the scenes at the club taking care of our books and pays.




Claudia Harman 

Claudia has recently attained her Intermediate Coaching qualification. Although just 16 and still at high school, Claudia has worked with our Club for over 2 years coaching in our GymSkills program.



Dana Henley

Dana is a Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), Trampoline, Tumbling, Acrobatic and Aerobic Gymnastics coach and judge. She completed her tertiary studies in 2016 collecting 4 degrees including a post graduate qualification in Sports Coaching from UQ.

Dana takes a broad range of classes from Women's Artistic Gymnastics classes to Aerobic Gymnastics classes. Although she began gymnastics at the ripe old age of 13 via the teen class once a week for about two years, she had done six years of teams and singles aerobics gymnastics – her true love! She returned to the world of competition mid 2016 and achieved a Silver medal at Nationals in Bendigo in 2017.



Emily Beckett

Emily graduated Year 12 in 2017 and is an Intermediate coach working in our GymSkills program and training in our Women's Artistic program. She competed in several competitions in 2017 and is undertaking a Bachelor Of Science at Griffith University.


Erin Hopgood

Erin also  graduated Year 12 in 2017 and is coaching our young trampolinists. She has recently returned to her own training as a Level 6 trampolinist with our Club and hopes to qualify for Nationals in May 2018 in Melbourne.  She is studying Exercise Science at QUT in 2018.


James Pitt

James  is continuing his passion for coaching gymnastics to others. He works in our GymSkills and Women's Artistic Gymnastics programs and will be entering the world of competition in 2018.


Melanie Tonks

Melanie is our most experienced Trampoline coach having had over 40 years of coaching experience. She has worked as an International Judge since 1988 as well as an Assistant National Coach and is also a course presenter for coaching and judging trampoline.

Melanie has coached many State, National and International Age and Open Champions including four Olympians.


Tessie Wilson

Tessie also trained as a trampolinist with our Club until recently.  She is our longest serving coach and works with our GymSkills and Trampoline programs whilst studying Veterinary Nursing.  Tessie also trains in synchronized swimming.

Beginner Coaches


Chante Wernowski

Chante is our newest member of staff.  She attends Ormiston College, participates in a wide range of sports and is also a member of the Club competing in Aerobics and Women's Artistic Gymnastics. She is learning to coach Aerobic Gymnastics and Mens' Artistic Gymnastics - her boys having brought home several medals at their very first competition in October 2017.



Gayle Burns

Yes our very own Receptionist who has been a Trampoline judge for some time now has become a coach as well.  Her areas of interest are the pre-school aged children and seniors.
